The Yacht Club accommodations onboard two of MSC’s large ships, the Splendida and Fantasia are a marvelous enclave of 71 spacious suites located on three decks in the most forward part of each vessel. A 24 hour concierge plus your own private butler simply add to the rarefied experience and to one’s enjoyment. From your arrival at the pier you are cosseted and pampered by the attention to detail and personalized service. Check in is fast and within minutes you have been whisked up to the concierge lounge on Deck 15 and shown to your suite by your butler. Your luggage is already there and the butler will assist you with unpacking if so desired. And he is never more than a phone call away.
Guests of Yacht Club have their own private lounge – the Top Sail – to gather for pre- and post-dinner drinks, refreshments and simply to relax and enjoy some sea views or the company of a good book. Other exclusive amenities include a restaurant just for Yacht Club guests, private elevators with key card access, the One Pool with its swimming pool, ample deck sunning space, showers and two Jacuzzis and the One Bar for light meals and snacks. And within the Yacht Club confines all wine and spirits as well as sodas, coffees and other beverages are included in the price of the cruise.
Add to that access to the rest of the ship which offers a large choice of other dining options and more than a dozen bars and lounges, outstanding entertainment and a casino, you have a wonderful product at your fingertips. Yacht Club suites are beautifully decorated and offer a full bathroom with tub and shower, large closet, safe, make up mirror and fine amenities including lovely bed linens, Internet service and HD TV. A stocked mini bar and a balcony add to the experience but it’s the butler service that steals the show!
